Dear Parents,

 

 

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Delaney Farmer and I am the Athletic Trainer for Lake Washington High School. I want to take this brief moment to let you know that our school provides a Licensed Athletic Trainer to cover all of our after-school sporting events.
 

 

I help provide injury care, management of new and old injuries, work with your family doctor, physical therapist and any other healthcare provider they may be seeing while your student-athlete is being seen by them for any skeletal -muscular issues.
 

During the season, if your student-athlete happens to get injured, I may send them home with information to give to you regarding injury exercises, home care, referral to see another healthcare provider (i.e. Doctor, Physical Therapist, Chiropractor, etc.). At any time if you have any questions about my care for your student-athlete or just want to know more, please do not hesitate to contact me by one of the means below.

 

I look forward to working with your student-athlete and will do my best to work with any injuries they may obtain during their practices or event and get them back to performance level so they can enjoy the sport that they love.
