As an athlete compete, they need many things to reach the peak of their performance. As they practice on the field each day to shine on the court and field, each athlete also needs to prepare off the field, at school and at home with proper nutrition. Nutrition is a fundamental piece in performing well. You can't drive a gas car without gas, as just the same an athlete cannot perform well in their sport with a poor nutritional intake.
